Mall Silks is a division of Plantscape, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA, one of the largest interior landscaping firms in the United States...and one of the nation's top award winners. Mall Silks' manufacturing facility, part of a two-acre complex that was once a former steel pipe plant, is located in Pittsburgh's historic Strip District. Additional large tree construction is handled at our nearby warehouse and distribution center in Braddock, PA. Celebrating 32 years in business, Mall Silks was started because our parent company couldn't find big, realistic artificial plants and trees on the market. At that time many of the architects and designers we worked with were specifying plants and trees in low light locations where real plants would soon die. The artificial plants and trees that were available then were crude replicas. So we began to manufacture our own. After some trial and error, we eventually developed plants and trees that fooled the experts. We have pioneered an amazing number of innovations in the world of artificial tree manufacturing. Our designers and artists have taken architects' and designers' thoughts and sketches and turned them into exciting finished plantings that grace major hotels, banks, lobbies, cruise ships, hospitals and malls. Over the years Mall Silks has developed a national and international reputation for the most life-like plants and trees available anywhere.
