In this project profile, we showcase one of our most popular items, Bamboo.  Specifically our “wild bamboo”. The client contracted with Mall Silks to furnish multiple units of bamboo for an interior bamboo forest project. The bamboo were to be made in 14 separate clumps with three stalks per clump. The individual clumps will be planted in an in ground planter to resemble a bamboo forest. The bamboo trees were made using our own bamboo trunks that had been harvested locally and dried on our facility. 

The wild bamboo is made by leaving some of the natural stems of the bamboo attached to the trunk to create a more natural look. Then artificial foliage is added to the stalks meticulously and artistically by our designers. For this project, 42 large bamboo poles were used to construct the entire forest. More than 60,000 inherently fire retardant leaves were used to foliate the bamboo. The project was manufactured and delivered to the client on schedule.
